A great persona is short, structured, and actionable. Use consistent fields so your team can scan and compare personas quickly.
Recommended persona fields
- Name & role: short help to refer to them
- Key quote: one sentence that captures motivation or pain point
- Goals & needs: top 3–5 goals
- Frustrations: top 3–5 pain points
- Behavioral context: where, when, and how they use the product
- Technical comfort and devices
- Demographics only when relevant for the problem
