Personas become useful when they inform decisions. Translate personas into concrete scenarios and success metrics.
Scenarios and journeys
For each persona, create 3–5 realistic scenarios (tasks they’ll want to complete) and map the ideal user flow.
Prioritize features for personas
- Estimate impact for the persona, effort, and evidence-based need
- Score features using an impact/effort or evidence-based rubric
Practical exercise
Write 3 scenarios for your persona and map the happy path for each. Use the scenarios to create a top 3 list of features that would most help your persona.
